And so it was that the weather finally turned good enough to go riding, and we did.
Jim Seutter, Don Schultz and myself went out to the Blackfoot, east of Sherwood Park.
The normal routine when we do this run is to meet at around 9:00 a.m. and saddle up the horses,
load them onto Jim's trailer (what a nice guy!) and then head out there and be on the trail
by 10:15 or so. Hit the Running Dog cabin, complete with stove and picnic tables, eat, snooze,
tell lies and then back on the trail by 2:00 p.m., out by 3:30 and on the sofa by 4:30.
Doesn't always work that way (sometimes we ain't got no lies to tell!) but it is always a great day!
