When I got back in Vancouver I phoned up Stuart, a guy that I met at the website VolusiaRiders.com, when I had posted that I was going to Vancouver for the weekend. We drove around Stanley Park and headed over to what he referred to as 'his restaurant'. Now, to me, my restaurant is the closest Tim Horton's to my house. So I wasn't sure what to expect in Vancouver. Turns out he owns a restaurant by Stanley Park, about 6 blocks from the ocean. Very hip. Very gay. Very tony. So not catering to me. Or him, for that matter. We laughed at that. He showed me a bottle of liquor that cost $500 for what looked like maybe 600 ml. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the restaurant, but I had the best cappuccino EVER! The foam was enough to come back for. And he had an espresso machine that was made in Italy, I think in Maranello, home of Ferrari, and the paint job for the espresso machine was done by Ferrari. Cool! Don't even know what it is, but it's cool!
