So, I bought a motorcycle to replace my aging '79 Kawasaki, which died on me several months ago. It is a 2003 Suzuki Volusia 800 cruiser. Or, if you are hip on motorcycle parlance, a metric cruiser, denoting that it is non- American in origin. Metrics are not just the rice-burners, they're also the Kraut machines as well. So, a road trip is in order. A small one, I don't have time for a major one yet. So let's go to Jasper for the day. Should be able to rack up a thousand kilometres or so, should be a good day! And it was! Weather was excellent, tail wind all the way home, bike performed flawlessly. Our OBJECTIVE: Take some pictures of the bike by Maligne Lake. So let's get started.
