--Saturday (Kolob Canyon, Zion National Park, Mt Carmel area, Duck Creek) Today was the big group ride. Dandee brought in a few friends from the area to join us and we all headed out for Kolob Canyon on our way to Zion and beyond. Kolob canyon introduced us to a wonderful couple from Maryland who allowed us to steal the wife for a picture while her husband dutifully snapped as many cameras as he could get working. Then off to the Zion Harley dealership who was having a big wing-ding kind of event for Saturday. They were having rides in the back of a monster truck, show and shine contests, bands were coming in, all sorts of fun. But that's not what we wanted. Mileage, that's what we wanted.
