Ronnie, just Ronnie

DanEBoy

So now the convoy heads south to Cedar City. It is hot, it is desert, it is
good. They don't have helmet restrictions in the states that I have been
going through and I have to admit that I have been rather negligent in
wearing it. But it feels so good. And seriously, if I was in a wreck at 80
mph, I'd rather not come through it in some kind of 'condition'. Just take me
now.

I felt bad for DanEBoy, he was a tad reluctant to go at high speeds on the
motorcycle (I need to get fancier now and refer specifically to his ride as a
scoot since his looked very, very nice), but in lieu of being left behind in
our collective dust, he risked it all ran it at 80 mph, up to 85 I hear,
attempting to keep up to me.

DanEBoy at speed!

I like to lead. If you ain't the lead dog, the scenery never changes. [We now
pause for a moment while the 'Meercans attempt to figure out what this veiled
snowy reference is hinting at...]. Okay, so we totally pushed him out of his
comfort zone. Heck, later on we take him on a dirt road. I don't know which
was the worst though for him, being on dirt, or getting dust on his scoot. I
can keep a nice steady pace, which is okay on a superslab, but you don't want
me leading when you're on a two-laner, I pass where others might tarry. (get
the feeling I've been catching up on my Reader's Digest word of the day?)
Except for Polo, I think he'd be a tough one to outrun, he doesn't display a
lot of cowardice either.
