The temples - must be thousands of them, everywhere. Out in the country in little hole in the wall valleys, in town every 2 or 3 blocks it seems, all along the riverbank, temples, temples, temples. I was actually a little disimpressed with the statues. Most of them were in some state of disrepair, such as the gold flake paint peeling off, pieces missing, spots where something had knocked off some of the glass pieces, things that I wouldn't have thought would happen to revered idols.
