A veterinarian couple that goes to my church, the Jones' of Uncas Vet Clinc (MY recommendation on them), have the contract with the City of Edmonton Zoo. So if it isn't human and it isn't well, they patch'em. What happened here was that one of the zoo bunnies gave birth to a litter of 11, of which she could only manage 7, so what do you do with the extra 4? Well, if you're the Jones', you take'em home. This would also explain why they are one of the few families in Alberta with a pet wallaby .... They're just so soft-hearted (aw shucks!)
Last night we went out and saw these 5 day old bunnies. The pictures speak for themselves.
