So, since Mom and Dad were actually in Canada on Dad's birthday, we celebrated here! Not everyone was available that night (Doug and Kim) but the rest of us went for Chinese. Poor Nial and Evelyn, they were all dressed up because Jane knows the owner of the restaurant who said that if they ever showed up in full costume that they could serve. Alas, she was not working that night and no one else knew about the deal, so they just had to sit with us. But didn't they look good!
