Magazine filling room

Note, in the gunpowder storage room (next picture) the copper on the
walls. This was to discourage the rats from eating through the wood
and escaping, often with bits of gunpowder on their fur, which as they
ran too close by a lantern would explode. Not a good thing on a wooden
	ship!

Also note the leather between the barrels, to reduce friction and the
build up of heat, also not a good thing in a gunpowder room on a
	wooden ship.

Masts

Mess table

	Rank has privilege!

Each sailor was given 16 inches of width to call their own. Claim 17
inches and you could meet with some disciplinary action.

Officers often got up to a whopping 22 inches of personal living space
	at night.

The hammocks also served as your coffin. For officers they had wooden
hammocks that were basically a hanging coffin idea. Each was custom
	made for you.
