Warren's London-based Adventures

So, on Saturday I decided to go for a walk to Berkhamsted Castle.
Okay, actually Berkhamsted Ruins. It turned into a 13 kilometre
jaunt in slightly less than blustery weather. Rather windy. But it
was good for walking as you definitely did not heat up too much.

So the first section here is my walk along the canal that featured
a bonus event this time - a trip in a narrow boat. I met up with
this fellow, James, who lives in his boat and was heading North.
We ended up talking as I was taking some pictures of him going
through a lock. I kept on walking and basically kept up to him
until at the next lock we ended up talking some more. We had a
good time. So I asked if I could ride with him to the next lock,
and he said hop on. So I did! It was fun. This could be a very
relaxing way of life if it actually accomplished something. Which
of course is the purpose of it all. It just calms you. Like
fishing. You don't technically accomplish anything when you are
fishing, it just clears your head. Horses and motorcycles do that
	for me!
