Tower of London (not what I was suspecting)

I have to admit, this is not what I was expecting when I was thinking of
the Tower of London. Not really even much of a tower, compared to other
structures in the neighbourhood. Small Fortress perhaps! Many layers of
walls for protection though. All sorts of history and myth persist about
this place and the people who were in there, the things that were done to
them in the name of justice, torture really! It is not that imposing.

And then there is the Tower Bridge, which is actually more of what I used
to think when they said the Tower of London. At least it is tall! So it is
a good thing that I am here so that I can get my facts straight. And thank
you Wikipedia for all the background information that I have been reading
up on as well!
