So, on Saturday I went to BB plaza which is by the KLCC (city center). The mall is different in that it is about 6 floors and they are mostly filled with shops that look like they are going to be gone at any point. Among the better things for us foreigners is the pirated DVDs available. The funny thing about this is that the police apparently do crackdowns on software, but not on DVDs and CDs. And when they come to do a raid they apparently first phone the mall and tell them they are coming, kind of booking a clear out appointment. One of the guys here that encountered one of these thought it was cute that the shops basically moved on to the street about 2 blocks away and lead you over to their new and improved site.
