So, 7 in the morning, I show up in KL, this is what I am presented with, which I have to admit is pretty darn nice. A three bedroom apartment with a kitchen, living room and dining room that exits on to a man- made lake. Now, before all the ooing and aaahing commences, I also learned that this little pad costs around 3500RM a month, which at current rates is almost $1200CDN. Furnished, mind you, but that is steep by Canadian numbers. Apparently in Dresden this would still be a great price. So I think we know where the pricing is coming from.
