So, here are a few more pictures of the area directly around the area where I am working. Our street is on the official tour route, although they are not really looking at our buildings so much as the three castles across the way. Here's another nice shot of the three castles across the river from where I work
What it looks like about 1 km from where I am working
The three net-linx buildings. I am working in the middle one, two stories up. Interesting note here, ground floor is considered to be the zero floor, and the first floor above ground is the first floor, which in Canada would be the second floor.
Looking south (see the net-linx buildings now?) See that big tower, it is an old communications tower. Apparently it is for sale, only 1€ (Euro). But you have to maintain it. Always a hitch, isn't there.
Cute looking intersection down from where I am working
Another building, I don't know what it is or was, just to the left of the three castles
Ah, the tobacco factory. Apparently when this building was made, and it was a tobacco factory at the time, no chimneys were allowed. So the builders designed it look like a mosque. See that big tall shrine thing? Suspiciously hollow and ultimately used as a smokestack. Pretty sneaky, even back then.
This is what breakfast often looked like for me. Some German sausage some Czech eggs, some Czech milk and put it all on with some light rye bread. Breakfast. Catch the orange, not yellow, eggs
