Warren's European Vacation

So today, Sunday, we headed out in search of castles.
Because what good is a trip to Germany if you don't go and
see Castles? And so we did, Robert Leistner and Falk Adam
		as my guides.

We headed out to the kind of to the west of Dresden, I
guess in search of treasures. Where we actually ended up
was in the Chemnitz district which is where Robert grew
up, so he had all sorts of stories for me about the area,
his swimming hole (yup, a real one) and his summer jobs.

He also knew a great deal of background history, like all
the abandoned factories that we saw were basically all
textile mills. We just don't see little industry shops
like this in Canada. Or Alberta at least.

Another abandoned textile factory by Markersdorf

Looking out over the Mulde River, I believe

Lunzenau

The next town, Görikhain

This is one of many textile factories in the region, all of which have been abandoned. This one is in Görikhain
