In the first picture is the mall area that is used for a major Christmas market that ended, naturally, just before I got there. Looking up I noticed that it had some pretty fancy artwork over the arches. On the other side of the building shown here on the right hand side was a ceramic mural that depicted the leaders in Dresden's history for the last thousand years or so. Each ceramic tile used in the mural is unique, no mass production here. Each tile is about 16 inches square. South side of Residence
