Well, it was a long day, 30 hours from bed to bed. Flight took off at 4:00 p.m. in Edmonton to Calgary, then an hour and a half lay-over for a 6 p.m. flight that didn't actually get started until 7 p.m. Then a ten hour flight to Frankfurt which got us in at noon, German time. Wait for about 4 1/2 hours for the connecting flight to Dresden, made it there by 5:30 p.m. I got picked up by Peter Gaspar and Robert Leistner from the Dresden office and they got me all settled down. Asleep by 9 p.m. Whew! At the airport I noticed a Maserati, we don't get those over here in Canada Maserati displayed in Frankfurt airport
And then I noticed a McDonald's sign. Something familiar,
but yet not!
And in the restaurant here is what the menu looked like.

A German McDonalds menu. A Quarter Pounder is called a Royal in Germany!
So the next day I show up at work at 7 a.m. which was okay
since my internal clock is so screwed up right now, I
might as well do something semi-useful since I am up
anyway.
I am starting to really fade by about 4 p.m. But I get a
couple of quick pictures of what I get to look at all day,
3 castles on the other side of the Elbe River.
