So on Memorial day, November 1 in Brasil, we still worked while the rest of the world, well, Porto Alegre anyway, relaxed. But then, hey, we're net-linx staff and we're kind of stupid that way. After a nice lunch, I ended up traipsing off around 6 p.m. to see the water's edge at Guaiba Lake, which is odd, because it is also salt water and basically a bay to the ocean, like Fundy!
